Dear Mr. Zieff,

The September 6th issue of The Hopkinton Independent included an article about Boulder’s progress and plans concerning the Weston Nursery Property. The article reported that you are forming an Advisory Group “of people who have varying interests, some with concerns about trails and Open Space”. On behalf of the Hopkinton Trails Club, I would like to take the opportunity to formally introduce our organization in anticipation of our participation in this Group.

The Hopkinton Trails Club (www.hopkintontrailsclub.com) is a volunteer group of area residents dedicated to enjoying and enhancing the existing trails in Town while promoting the creation of new trails and improving trail connections throughout the community. These trails are for the benefit of walkers, runners, equestrians, bikers and those on x-country skis or snowshoes. Our Club holds monthly meetings, has organized more than a dozen walks involving hundreds of residents over the past year, and participates in trail construction and maintenance activities.

At our September meeting the club members present requested that I contact you and request membership on this Advisory Group as the official representative of The Hopkinton Trails Club.
